Confirmation Registration 2016-2017

What steps are necessary to register for Confirmation?

• Step 1: Select a Level and Track (Level 1 = first year of Confirmation; Level 2 = second year of Confirmation), (Track = which day you would like to attend Confirmation sessions). Note, you will only attend one session each month but you must attend the session on the day of the track you are registered for.
• Step 2: Complete the registration process and submit online payment.
• Step 3: Permission slips and copies of Baptism and First Holy Communion certificates are required. Upon completion of the online registration process you will receive an email instructing you on how to schedule an appointment in the Youth Ministy office. You are required to bring copies of Baptism and FHC certificates to this scheduled appointment. At least one parent must attend, teens are encouraged to attend.

Is there a difference in the registration fee for in-parish and out-of-parish families?
No, the registration fees are the same for everyone.

• Level 1 - $200
• Level 2 - $350 (includes mandatory Life Teen/Confirmation retreat on November 18, 19, 20, 2016)

All fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Is there a price adjustment for families with more than one child in the Confirmation process?
No. Registration fees are the same for all candidates. 

Can the registration fee be completed in payments?
During the first step in the online registration process you can select to pay in full OR select partial payments which will distribute the cost into three payments.

When is the Parent Meeting?

There will be two parent meetings.

1. Following registration you will set up an appointment to meet with the Youth Ministry staff in the office.  

2. The first Confirmation session in September must be attended by at least one parent and the candidate.

How often must I attend Confirmation?
Confirmation candidates must attend one Confirmation session each month. Sessions are offered on a Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.  The day you will attend your session is selected in the track at the time of registration.  There are other attendance requirements in addition to sessions.  For more information, refer to the schedule.

How many Service Hours need to be completed?
Candidates complete 40 service hours per year, for a total of 80 service hours in the two-year process. Additional hours do carry over from Level 1 to Level 2 (i.e. if a candidate completes 60 hours in Level 1, they only need to complete 20 in Level 2). Candidates are encouraged to earn hours in their community as well as through opportunities provided at or by St. Bruno.

When does registration close?
Registration closes on August 31, 2016 at 11:59pm.
